Professor David Blackburn says…

I’ve just completed my first book with the incredible mentorship of Jennifer Sparks and STOKE Publishing. What began as a hobby project, something I worked on for years without a clear end goal, almost stalled when it came time to choose a publisher. The process felt overwhelming enough that I nearly gave up altogether.

Thankfully, I discovered Jennifer and STOKE completely by chance. From that point on, Jen guided me through every step of the process, transforming a rough Word document into a finished book I’m truly proud of. Her turnaround was impressively fast, and her approach was professional, creative, and supportive throughout.

We connected through phone calls, emails, and texts, and she even hand-delivered my first proof copy—an experience I’ll never forget. The entire journey has motivated me to keep writing and continue publishing.

I’m incredibly grateful to Jennifer Sparks for making this such a positive and rewarding experience. If you’re writing a book and want someone who can help you get across the finish line, I highly recommend reaching out to Jen.

Julie Fairhurst says…

I have just finished my latest book Women Like Me. Jennifer was amazing. She was there to answer my questions and guide me along the way. The book cover and interior were designed by Jennifer and on one of our calls, when I confessed I was struggling with the title, she dove in and came up with the concept.
Women Like Me made it to #1 status on Amazon in two categories. Without Jen’s smarts, the book would not have been such a success. For this, I and the 15 ladies in the book are forever grateful to her and STOKE Publishing.

Cheryl Dougan says…

When I first entered the publishing world, I worked with a provider that left me feeling disconnected from the process and lacking control. Transitioning to independent publishing felt overwhelming until I started working with Jennifer at STOKE Publishing. She was the guide I needed to reclaim ownership of my author journey.

Jennifer’s expertise is unmatched. She brings an eclectic perspective to every project, balancing her deep industry knowledge with a genuine passion for helping authors succeed. She didn’t just guide me through the process—she made sure I understood the “why” behind every decision, giving me the confidence to eventually manage my own publishing projects. Her consulting calls were always insightful, and her ability to explain complex concepts clearly was invaluable.

What sets Jennifer apart is her focus on empowerment. She doesn’t just complete tasks; she equips authors with the tools and knowledge they need to thrive. Unlike my earlier experience, where I felt dependent on the provider, Jennifer ensured I was in the driver’s seat of my publishing process. Her responsiveness, quick turnaround times, and unwavering encouragement made the entire process smooth and enjoyable. With Jennifer’s guidance, I have successfully published the River Cruise Cozies series and the Ocean Cruise Cozies series, and I’m currently working on my third cozy series, the Northern Light Cozy Mysteries series.

Holding my book proof for the first time was an unforgettable moment, made possible by Jennifer’s dedication and expertise. She helped me see the potential in my work and gave me the confidence to embrace every step of the publishing process.

If you’re looking for a partner who combines professionalism, passion, and a genuine belief in your success as an author, Jennifer at STOKE Publishing is the one. Thanks to her, I’ve gone from feeling overwhelmed to fully embracing my journey as an independent author.
